Okay. Apparently we've been getting a few new guys who are interested in joining and learning free run. This blog mainly only updates major events so of I highly recommend you guys to head to our official forum at www.pkmy.tk and register yourself there.
You can then introduce yourself, check out the help section and even post videos or request for assistance on techniques or what not there. What's so important for you to registe there is because we post all our mini jam sessions, impromptu training and conditioning sessions there. And most of the time are held sand organized by different individuals and parties alike.
Bookmark www.pkmy.tk for easier access and do check it up often cuz we update our events there early on. Thanks for reading. Train hard and keep it safe!!
P/s : for the new guys. I recommend you to search for tutorials on basic moves such as the shoulder roll, all the different kinds of vaults, cats, turn vaults, how to land from height if rolling is not possible, etc.
If you wanna learn the more advanced tricks I suggest you find a local gym if there are any available. I have to say that gymnastics gyms are really hard to find in Malaysia. So a good alternative is to find some mattresses and place it somewhere preferably in an open field to practice your flips.
Flips can be very dangerous if not performed correctly. Broken bones are common. So take the necessary precautions before attempting any kind of flip. Do it without the matress and spotter ONLY when you've got the trick down good and are confident that you can pull it off consistently. Listen to your body at all times. :) happy training!!
